ROC is our name and our vision: exclusive custom skis from the Dolomites – each pair built individually, with passion and attention to detail. Formerly known as TRAAM – now part of the ROC brand at Kronplatz, together with ROC Ski School, ROC Ski Rental and ROC Ski Service & Ski Clinic.

Creative minds and experienced ski instructors
ROC was born from a close-knit group of creative minds and experienced ski instructors. Young designers, ski instructors and craftspeople work together with one goal: building skis as individual as the people who ride them.
Our craft
Handmade skis from Reischach near Bruneck
Every ROC ski is handmade in our workshop in Reischach near Bruneck, right at Kronplatz. We build in sandwich construction with wood cores of ash, beech or poplar.
Each ski spends up to six hours in the ski press before it is ground, waxed and prepared for the slopes.

How to assess the quality of handmade skis
Wood core
A core of ash, poplar, beech or balsa gives a calm, lively ride.
Sandwich construction
Layers of wood, fibreglass or carbon with ABS sidewalls protecting the core.
Edges & base
Hardened steel edges and a graphite race base for grip and glide.
Time & handwork
Up to six hours in the ski press, then grinding and finishing by hand in Reischach.
How it all began
From an idea to a ski factory
In 2023 four friends revived the TRAAM project with one aim: to build high-quality custom skis. Today ROC stands behind it, with its own ski production, the ROC brand and further divisions around skiing and tourism at Kronplatz:
